Dan waktu Konferensi Pers 'Simple Plan: Get Your Heart On Tour Indonesia 2012' kemarin, I have an opportunity from my office to interview David from Simple Plan!!!! KYAAAA!!!! This is my FIRST time interviewing an international musician. You know how it feels? N-E-R-V-O-U-S.

My first concert on 2012! For me, it was a good live performance by Foster The People. My friend told me that the sound wasn't good enough from tribune class, but from festival class the sound was good :)

Di lagu terakhir, Pumped Up Kicks, Mark Foster turun dari panggung dan langsung berdiri ke depan penonton, wow I was surprised!

Setlist: Houdini, Miss You, Life on the Nickel, I Would Do Anything For You, Broken Jaw, Waste, Call It What You Want, Don't Stop (Color on the Walls), Say It Ain't So (Weezer Cover), Helena Beat, Ruby, Warrant, and last but not least Pumped Up Kicks :)

NB: cukup kecewa ga nonton konser Vampire Weekend tahun 2010 kemaren, tapi FTP menutup rasa kekecewaan itu :p

Hello.. It's been a long time and it's already 2012! I'll post about my 2012 celebration, excited! :)

2011 merupakan tahun yang sangat warna-warni buat gue, mulai dari seneng banget sampai galau banget. Kenapa? Mulai dari gue jalan-jalan ke Singapore & Malaysia, skripsi, bimbingan (ngejar-ngejar dosen), sidang skripsi (masa-masa tergalau), LULUS, revisi, hardcover, jalan-jalan (lagi) ke Pangandaran & Green Canyon, wisuda, interview kerja berulang kali, dapet kerja, nerima gaji, semua jadi satu.

Btw, gue baca post gue tahun lalu tentang tahun baru 2011, ada beberapa wishes yang gue tulis:

1. Graduate from Binus --- and I did. (Alhamdulillah)

2. Go vacation. I hope Europe or at least Bangkok/Bali --- Well... I went to Singapore, Malaysia, Pangandaran Beach, and Green Canyon. (Alhamdulillah)

3. Get what I need and what I want --- Now I'm working at media companies and earn some money :) (Alhamdulillah)

So, wishes for 2012?

1. Focus on my job.

2. Learn some design technique .

3. Survive.

4. Have a boyfriend ------------------------------------kidding :p

It's a late post. I know. Lebih baik terlambat daripada tidak sama sekali :p

Thanks God, I've won 2 free tickets festival Westlife's concert from OZRadio!

And I'm not far from the stage! Haaaappy!

Waktu Westlife muncul dengan lagu pertama mereka When You're Looking Like That, terjadi dorong-dorongan yang sangat sangat dahsyat di festival (persis sekali dengan kejadian di konser Avril Lavigne beberapa bulan yang lalu). You won't know what its like until you feel it yourself. Don't blame the audience's attitude, blame the promotor! They didn't even think about the safety for the audience. It's OVERCROWDED.

After they sang World Of Our Own, What Makes A Man, Safe, and Home, they're stopped the show, asking the audience up front to take two steps back. “Everybody, please stop pushing. Take two steps back or the concert will be finished,” Byrne said. But, it's OVERCROWDED. We (audience) can do nothing. “OK guys, there are a lot of seats out there. If you push forward again, we have to go. Sorry, we don’t want you to get hurt,” Filan added, while asking people to move to the tribune area. Sampai akhirnya memakan waktu kurang lebih 30 menit, akhirnya Westlife melanjutkan konser mereka.

Dilanjutkan dengan lagu My Love, Seasons In The Sun, You Raise Me Up, Already There, I Will Reach You, and Flying Without Wings. We're singing together, and Nicky is very handsome and very flirting (hahaha). With their tuxedo outfit, they sang What About Now and Uptown Girl................and it's over. The concert is over. I'm like "whaaaaat?". They were supposed to sing five tracks including Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance and the Black Eyed Peas’ Time of My Life [Dirty Bit], Coldplay's Viva La Vida, and Rihanna's Only Girl! A big big big disappointment for Marygops Studios!

A month ago me & my best of the best bestfriends were going to the beach! Horray!

Normally, it took 6-7 hours to get to Pangandaran from Jakarta.

But, when we're on tol cipularang, Andra's car radiator exploded! Fortunately, the 'mobil derek' just come in time! It took 4 hours to repair it. Finally, we arrived at Pangandaran at 21.00 o'clock. Soooooooooooooooooooo sleepy.

The tomorrow morning, we're plan to go to the beach and Green Canyon!

Well, i thought we would go by a car to the Green Canyon, but my prediction was wrong.

We're go to Green Canyon by a boat. Not a speed boat, but with fishing boat!

You know, I'm scared for being in the middle of the sea. TOTALLY SCARED.

But, you know, if we with our friends the fear will be dissapear. But, not for me -_-

But when we arrived at Green Canyon, the fear is gone. All I can say is "WOOOWWWW THIS PLACE IS SO WONDERFULL!!"

Well, i'm not really know about their new album (i'm not listening it, yet.), but i'm really really in love with their 'old' albums which is The Young And The Hopeless, The Chronicles Of Life And Death, and Good Morning Revival. Aaaand they brought their old songs on JRL!!! So excited!!! Oh yes, Benji didn't forget about his promise to us (Indonesian) about 'he-will-sing-cenatcenut-song', and he did it! So funny, LOL XD

Juni kemarin adalah bulan terakhir gue kuliah bareng temen-temen kelas gue. Ga kerasa ya udah kuliah 4 tahun. Kayanya baru kemaren gue daftar masuk kuliah dan pake baju item-putih ke kampus (maba), eh sekarang udah skripsi aja. Kalau dipikir-pikir banyak banget orang yang 'lewat' dalam kehidupan gue selama 4 tahun ini. Kangen masa-masa semester 1 atau 2 (belom ada dosa), pulang kuliah jalan-jalan, nonton, sampe rumah malem, tidur ga ada beban. Sekarang? Ga usah ditanya deh. Pengennya ke perpus, pengennya ketemu dosen pembimbing, pengennya skripsi kelar, pengennya LULUS. TITIK.

Pasti bakal kangen sama suasana kelas. Masa-masa ga merhatiin dosen (:p), ngegosip di kelas, maen hp, ngemil keripik setan, ngegambar, bengong ngeliat dosen (native-Jepang) gara-gara ga ngerti dia ngomong apaan, ngeliatin jam mulu (pengen cepet-cepet pulang), dan masa-masa kalangkabut kuis dadakan. Hahaha. Yaaah, I'll miss you guys! Hidup PAN/PBN! Hidup Sastra Jepang! :p

Haha, iya iya gue tau telat banget nge-post ini sekarang. Lately, I've been busy with exam and my thesis thingy (huhu). Wish me luck, guys! :) And yes, Puti (my junior highschool friend), Yenny, Regina and I went to Avril Lavigne's concert in Jakarta. Thanks GOD I bought the premium ticket! So many many many stories I want to tell you guys! There's so many dissapointed things on this show.

1. Awalnya antrian masuknya (tiket premium) teratur tapi cuma 1 baris, padahal pintu masuk ada tiga (pintu masuk untuk tiket warna merah, hijau, dan kuning).

2. Di sekitar antrian pintu masuk tidak ada panitia. Sampe gatau mau nanya ke siapa kalo bingung ngantri di mana.

3. Pintu dibuka jam 5 sore. Pas sudah dekat jam 5 sore antrian bubarrrr, ngacooo, semua pada lari-lari ke pintu masuk TANPA ANTRI. What the hell!? Where's the crew!? Shit. Ga tertib sama sekali. (Untung gue premium yang warna merah jadi boleh masuk duluan).

4. I'm on the third row from the stage (kinda dissapointed but yea its okay, masih di depan juga sih hehe). Tiba-tiba ada bule (cewe abg) dorong-dorong karena dia mau di paling depan. Sampe dimarahin sama orang lain (penonton juga) tapi tetep ngeyel. Sampelah si bule di belakang gue. Trus dia ngomong sama temen-temennya "we are the only blondie girl here! hahaha!" Oh my god, dia kira kita ga bisa bahasa inggris apa ya?

5. Di twitternya si promotor katanya acara mulai jam 7. Sampe jam 8 lewat pun belom mulai mulai tuh konser.

6. Panas banget. Desek-desekan. Haus. Keringetan. Dan itu acara belom mulai.

7. Akhirnya mulai juga konsernya sekitar jam 20.20 wib.

8. Penontonnya juga pada ga santai sih dorong-dorongnya. Gue yang sangat pendek dan kecil ini udah kayak di tsunami aja ngikutin ombak ke kiri ke kanan. Dan akhirnya gue pisah sama temen gue karena kebawa ombak.

9. Dari yang barisan nomor 3 akhirnya gue gatau deh udah di barisan berapa, gue cuma butuh udara! Gilaaaak, ga bisa napassss! Sepenglihatan gue ada 3 orang yang pingsan, gatau aslinya ada berapa banyak.

10. Banyak yang mempermasalahkan sound. Mungkin karena gue di depan jadi gue ga terlalu bermasalah sama sound. Tapi komentar kebanyakan orang yang nonton katanya sound nya terlalu jelek.

11. Kesimpulan: harusnya konser untuk artis sekelas Avril Lavigne ini di ISTORA SENAYAN bukan di BALAI KARTINI.

12. Tapi di antara kekurangan2 ini, Avril Lavigne was AWSOMEEEE and so HOT!

Let's talk about the opening act.

DJ Devina, DJ Maia, dan Meichan yang jadi pemanasan di awal acara. Mereka bawa lagu (Dirty Bit) The Time nya The Black Eyed Peas, Firework nya Katy Perry, Toy Friend nya David Guetta, Club Can't Handle Me nya FloRida, dan lagu-lagu lain yang bikin penonton 'naik' (haha). Sayangnya, sangat disayangkan dan sayang sekali lagu penutup mereka adalah lagu mereka sendiri yaitu 'Pengkhianat Cinta' dan agak dangdut sih emang. Penonton yang tadinya udah 'naik' jadi langsung agak 'drop'. Tapi, ya overall keren sih performance mereka.

Abis DJ Devina, DJ Maia, & Meichan tampilah Jay Smooze. Penyanyi R&B gitu. Ya oke lah ada dancernya hehe. Tapi ya menurut gue ga terlalu ngangkat suasana (udah pada bete juga kali ya ngaret kelamaan).

Setelah itu, penonton udah mulai grasak-grusuk ga sabar pengen Far*East Movement. Sampe jam Stengah 11 malem si FM belom tampil juga. Bete sih. Nyaah. Akhirnya tampilah opening act selanjutnya, DJ Twist. Sebenernya DJ Twist ini keren! Aseli! Tapi, karena penonton udah mulai 'lemes' dan males jadi agak *kriuk* suasananya.

Jam 11 malem, akhirnya, AKHIRNYAAA, DJ Virman (salah satu personel Far*East Movement) nongol untuk DJ set. Crew dari FM masih sibuk mondar-mandir check sound. 15 menit setelah DJ Virman, barulaaah masuk Kev Nish, J-Spliff (my favorite!!!), dan Prohgress! Akhirnya. Akhirnya. Lagu pertama adalah Girls On The Dance Floor dilanjutkan dengan lagu If I Was You (OMG). Tiga lagu terakhir adalah Like A G6, Rocketeer, dan penutupnya adalah Go Ape. It was great! Tapi ekspresi gue sama Nindy "Hah? Udah nih? Abis?..."

Kesimpulan: Acaranya ngaret, opening act 3 jam, dan Far*East Movement cuma 1 jam.

Fira: Eh, kata temen gue Jepang gempa 8,9 SR! Trus Tsunami!

Saya: Ah, hoax paling.

Dan ternyata berita itu benar. Kaget. Ga kebayang gempa 8,9 SR + tsunami itu gimana. Serem banget ngeliat berita. Gonta-ganti channel tv dari CNN, NHK, Metro TV, & TV One. Banyak bangunan hancur, mobil-mobil kebawa air, dan Tokyo Disneyland juga kena imbasnya.

Yang patut dicontoh adalah bagaimana masyarakat Jepang menghadapi bencana ini. Mereka sangat tenang, tidak panik dan terkontrol. Memang, di Jepang sudah sering kali terkena gempa, tapi ini 8,9 SR + tsunami pulak! Saya salut mereka tetap tenang dan tidak rusuh.

Semoga bencana ini tidak menelan banyak korban, amin.

Singapore & Malaysia.

Setelah bersusah-susah ujian akhir semester, sekarang saatnya liburan!! Omg, i was so so so so happy! Akhirnya, liburan yang udah ditunggu-tunggu dari tahun lalu kesampean juga.

Me and Nadine, Sarah, Fira, Andra, Mikel (Michael, but we called him 'Mikel) went holiday to Singapore & Malaysia! Yippie! In Singapore, we stayed at my cousin's (Mba Nana) apartement. At last, I met my cousin, Mba Nana and (her husband) Mas Dillah, for such a long time! So happy! Their apartemen is such a cozy apartement! All item from Ikea, and most of the color are black and white. Ohh, i just love them.

1st day, we went to Bugis Street and Orchard Road. Shopping day! :D
2nd day, Universal Studio timeeee!!!
3rd day, Muter-muter day, oleh-oleh day, and so on. We ate at Fika (Swedish Cafe & Bistro) on Arab Street, and the food is very very very delicious! You must try it if you go to Singapore. Hee hee.

4. Waktu Nasuha & Ridwan mencetak gol.

"Pulang jam 8an ah, biar udah ga macet."

dan eng ing eeeeeeeeeng! Gue dari Plaza Senayan mau pulang ke Tebet.
Keluar PS jam setengah 8 dan itu setengah jam sendiri, kirain "ah palingan macet di depan doang, biasa gini mah", keluar dari PS belok kiri ke sudirman, dan......................................................ga gerak.

sejam..................................... *kebelet pipis*

dua jam................................. *BB matik*

akhirnya sampe semanggi jam 10 malem. Bayangiiin dari Senayan ke Semanggi 2 jam!!
Padat merayap.
Sampek flyover depan Balai Kartini. Ga gerak.

sejam.................................... *laper*

dua jam................................ *mulai pasrah*

tiga jam................................ *pengen nangis*

Akhirnya sampe Tebet jam 1 malem.
Bayangin dong.
Dari Plaza Senayan ke Tebet itu 5 jam. Dari jam 8 malem sampe jam 1 malem.
Nyetir sendiri. BB matik. Kebelet pipis. Laper. Bosen.
Bensin dari setengah sampe rumah KUNING.

@ Institut Teknologi Bandung, Tilla's graduation day!

Jam 3 dini hari bangun. Jam 5 berangkat ke Bandung.

Sampe Bandung jam 7 ketemu Ece & Hesty, langsung jemput Feni ke kosan di Dayeuh Kolot.

Jam 10 ke kosan Tilla di Tubagus. Dandan dandan.

Jam 1 siang sampe ITB buru-buru karena takut telat ngeliat Tilla di wisuda, eh taunya sistem wisuda ITB itu beda.

Congratulations Cici, Eswan, and Tilla! :D

Wisuda ITB itu ada 'arak-arakan' nya. Jadi mereka yang lulus sama himpunan masing-masing keliling ITB. Seruuuuuu banget! Mirip 'bunga rampai' kalo di Binus :p

Nungguin Tilla 'arak-arakan' sampe jam 4. Lanjutttt makan di DHL Cilaki. ZZZZEEEDAPPPP!!

Jam 5 atau 6 lanjut ke Jonas photo studio.

Abis foto studio, lanjut makan lagi di Resep Dapurku sampe jam 11 malem. Masakan sunda gitu dan ada live musicnya.

Pagi-pagi nya bangun jam 5 subuh. Siap-siap mau nganterin Hesty ke stasiun mau balik ke Jogja.

Jam 9 pagi balik ke Jakarta! Bye Bye Bandung, see you next time! :D

Global (Radio) Days Out @ MAZEE, FX

I introduce you a new comer (and will be a famous) band: Sound of NIKA!
The band consists of Gibran Marten (vocalist), Sarah Ayunda (vocalist), Ken (guitarist), Manuel Ambarita (keyboardist), Marcell Stephano (bassist), Rionald Anggita (drummer).

On Global Days Out event last saturday, they performed 3 songs. First song is "I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz, second song is "What I'm Gonna Do" by Sound of Nika, the third song is a medley from Train with "Hey Soul Sister" and from B.O.B feat Bruno Mars with "Nothin' On You".

They are cooool! I'm gonna be their big fan! :p
